Dot NAME Domain Names

Introduced in 2001, the .NAME universal TLD is the only one planned for personal web pages only. These domain names can be personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other labels people are famous by. At first, only third-level registrations were allowed, so if you wanted to reserve john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was liberalized and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already grabbed 3rd-level domains remained active.

Through our firm, you can secure your .NAME domain for a time interval between 1 and 10 years. You will be able to modify the WHOIS contact info, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already registered domain to our company if you receive its EPP transfer key from the present registration provider and we will renew it when the transfer has been completed. There are no special conditions on who can get a dot NAME domain name, but in order to keep the idea behind its creation alive, the Registry organization may check who the Registrant is and if there is no relation between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration may be challenged.

The .NAME generic domain name extension is amongst the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no extra cost.
